Riem has a history of more than 1200 years. The original "village" with its houses and farms, wrapped itself around the church of St. Martin. To this day, the development of Riem is closely linked to Trudering. Together they form the 15th district "Trudering-Riem" in the east of Munich.

On the one hand, there is the artificial lake, which is inviting for a swim in warm temperatures. If you are thirsty for water slides and wellness, you can reach the Michaelibad in the neighboring district of Ramersdorf-Perlach in just about 15 minutes by car. In the winter, the Riemer Park with its sledding hill is very inviting.
