Location
Hebertshausen is a municipality with around 6,000 inhabitants and belongs to the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau. It is located on the left bank of the Amper, just four kilometers northeast of the district town of Dachau. The formerly independent villages of Prittlbach, Ampermoching, Unterweilbach and Amperpettenbach belong to the municipality of Hebertshausen.

Local recreation
The open Amper landscape at Hebertshausener Moos invites you to linger. Riparian forests, reedbeds and litter meadows surround the river and numerous oxbow lakes. Hebertshausen lies at the transition from the Munich gravel plain to the Danube-Isar hills and boasts many beautiful cycle paths.
