Economically, Hadern is therefore mainly shaped by the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, but also by many smaller businesses. However, the old centers of the villages belonging to Hadern still exist and impress with their traditional rural charm and the beautiful and well preserved village churches of St. Peter and St. Canisius. Hadern also has a small theater, which is housed in a student residence, as well as an art gallery, an adult education center and a municipal library. One of the biggest advantages of Hadern as a residential area is its quiet location and good connections to the city center via the U-Bahn line U6, which takes you to the center within 20 minutes. But also the immediate proximity to nature makes this Munich district very attractive: The green spaces in the southwest of Hadern offer possibilities to relax and let you forget the hectic pace of the big city.

In terms of living space, you will find almost exclusively upscale residential buildings, especially single-family homes, as well as some charmingly renovated farmhouses from the 19th century. This district with its independent infrastructure is the ideal place to live. If you haven't found the right offer here, it's worth taking a look at the surrounding districts of Westpark and Laim.

Unfurnished rental apartments can be found on Immoscout24 (unfortunately only in German language). The Immoscout24 app, is also available in English.
