The municipality is located approx. 18 km east of the center of Munich and has a population of around 6,900. The Grasbrunn district can look back on 1000 years of history. While the original villages of Grasbrunn and Harthausen are characterized by agriculture, the Neukeferloh district is a more modern residential area with detached houses, semi-detached houses and terraced houses.
Infrastructure and transport links
Grasbrunn has a very good infrastructure and transport connections. Several daycare centers, an elementary school and nearby secondary schools make life here extremely valuable for families. There is also a modern senior citizens' center, various restaurants and good shopping facilities. Short distances to the highway and Munich Airport as well as a direct connection to Munich's MVV public transportation system make Grasbrunn an attractive and charming place to live. The new Munich Trade Fair Center can also be reached quickly via the A99 freeway or by S-Bahn (Vaterstetten stop).
