Development
The Zamdorf district is located in the south of the Bogenhausen borough. The once village-like character of Zamdorf was largely lost due to the brisk building activity in the 20th century. Today, the modern architecture of the Süddeutsche Zeitung high-rise building dominates the townscape. There are mainly detached houses and the occasional larger residential complex.
Infrastructure
The picturesque Zamilapark, with its small lake and beer garden, is particularly noteworthy. Despite the distance to the city center, Zamdorf is very well connected to public transport and thus to the center of Munich by the S8 . It also has its own slip road onto the A94, which provides a fast connection to long-distance traffic.
