Local recreation
The construction of the Munich-Mühldorf and Markt Schwaben-Erding railroad lines in the 19th century marked the beginning of a period of rapid population growth. Even today, the town is a popular residential area with beautiful properties to suit all tastes thanks to its convenient location. At the same time, Markt Schwaben benefits from a very natural location: in addition to the Schwabener Moos and the Ebersberger Forst, the new Postanger recreation area on the banks of the Henningbach stream is a great place to spend time.
