In only about 30 minutes by car you can reach the state capital Munich via the A96. The connection to public transport is optimal via the S8, airport line. In addition, various buses leave from the train station, including to the Andechs monastery and the districts, but also to Starnberger See and Weilheim.

The municipality of Andechs consists of three districts - Erling, Frieding and Machtlfing. A typical Bavarian natural landscape invites to relaxing and interesting excursions. Andechs is world-famous because of the monastery of the same name. It sees itself as a place of encounter and orientation. For almost 900 years, pilgrims have brought petitions and thanks to Mount Andechs. The representative premises also offer a stylish setting for any event.

In terms of schooling and further education, there is a primary and secondary school, a secondary modern school and the Bavarian Civil Service College in the town.

Excellent shopping facilities, the very good school system, outstanding medical care and the gastronomic offer perfectly round off the townscape and make Andechs an extremely attractive place to live.
