Popular and well connected
Untersendling is part of the Sendling district. There are many small shops along Waldfriedhofstraße, and the industrial area of "Hansapark" can be found in the northeast. However, there are also green spaces of various sizes waiting to be discovered: The so-called Stemmerwiese, which was part of a large farm until the 1960s, is now being used as a park by locals. Flaucher, one of the most popular recreation areas on the river Isar, and the modern Westpark can also be reached quickly on foot.

Location
Untersendling, originally an independent village, is now part of the Sendling district. There are many small stores along Waldfriedhofstraße and further to the north-east is Hansapark, Untersendling's commercial area. But there are also plenty of smaller and larger green spaces to discover: The Stemmerwiese, which belonged to a large farm until the 1960s, is now used as a recreational area by local residents. In addition, the Flaucheranlagen, one of the most popular local recreation areas on the Isar, can also be reached very quickly on foot, as can the extensive Westpark.
Buildings and connections
In this part of town, there are mainly detached and semi-detached houses with gardens, but also some larger residential buildings with beautiful properties. The location is very quiet and also green. With Partnachplatz and Harras, there are two subway stations on the U6 line in the immediate vicinity. This means that the center and the outskirts can be reached in just a few minutes. Harras is also a stop on the S7 S-Bahn line and a bus hub, so the public transport connections are excellent.
