Fröttmaning is located approx. 11 km north of Munich (Zentrum) and lies between the English Garden to the east and Neuherberg to the west. Despite its location on the northern outskirts of the city, Fröttmaning is very well connected to the city center. Thanks to the U6 Fröttmaning subway station , both the Zentrum and the outlying districts can be reached quickly and easily. In addition, Fröttmaning is connected to numerous destinations in the region and beyond via the Munich North freeway junction .
Development
The former village of Fröttmaning was abandoned in the 1960s, but some buildings still remain, such as the Heilig Kreuz church. The beautiful meadow settlement in the Isarauen with the Munich Mosque and the settlement on Fröttmaning Heide offers modern, inviting residential complexes with gardens. There are also attractive apartments in the surrounding districts of Freimann and Kieferngarten.
