Bogenhausen
Cosimapark is located in the north-east of Munich in district 13 Bogenhausen and is part of Englschalking. The residential complex extends east of Cosimastrasse from Englschalking Strasse in the south to Beckmesserstrasse in the north. This means that the district is located in an area that is clearly readable as a residential area on the one hand, but also offers short distances to infrastructure and transport axes on the other.
This location is particularly interesting from a residential perspective, as tranquillity and accessibility complement each other well in Cosimapark. The neighborhood is dominated by green spaces and residential buildings, while the nearby Rosenkavalierplatz, Bogenhausen Hospital, Cosimawellenbad and Arabellapark offer important everyday amenities and services.
Cosimapark is not isolated, but is in close proximity to several neighboring residential areas. Englschalking, Denning, Arabellapark and Johanneskirchen are particularly close by. Anyone looking to rent or buy an apartment in Cosimapark therefore benefits not only from the quiet residential complex itself, but also from short distances to neighboring districts with further infrastructure and different residential profiles.
Cosimapark is not a classic old residential area, nor is it just any new-build neighborhood. The residential complex was built in the 1960s and was designed by Ernst Barth. It is characterized by four-storey atrium houses and point blocks with surrounding balcony strips, which are embedded in a spacious green area. This architectural independence gives the quarter a high recognition value to this day. In 1968, the architect was awarded the honorary prize for residential construction for the overall design.
Cosimapark is also an independent neighborhood in terms of its scale. NordOstKultur names 1650 residential units, spread over atrium houses and in some cases up to nineteen-storey point blocks. It is precisely this structure that creates a residential environment that, despite its density, appears much more open than many classic perimeter block neighborhoods.

This classification results from the park-like structure, the good local amenities in the surrounding area, the connection via Arabellapark and Englschalking and the leisure facilities close to home.

Cosimapark is well positioned for everyday needs. Mr. Lodge names stores for daily needs directly in the residential area; in addition, Rosenkavalierplatz with stores, boutiques and other offers as well as Arabellapark are within easy reach. This makes the location convenient for everyday life.
The surrounding area is also well suited to gastronomy. The existing Mr. Lodge site lists several cafés, restaurants and a beer garden. Thanks to its proximity to Rosenkavalierplatz and Arabellapark, Cosimapark benefits from a range of options that are close to home but not over the top.
A clear advantage of the Cosimapark is the leisure facilities in the immediate vicinity. The Cosimawellenbad offers a wave pool, sports pool, warm outdoor pool, sauna area and, in summer, a sunbathing lawn with children's playground. There are also paths to the Denninger Anger, which is particularly suitable for walking and jogging.
