The beautiful west of Munich
The formerly independent town of Pasing has kept much of its autonomy. In the town center around the Pasing Marienplatz, you will find a large number of stores and restaurants. Here you can still recognize the former town center around which the city of Pasing was established.
Ever since a bypass road was constructed in 2012, this part has become an expansive pedestrian zone, perfect for a stroll. Here you can also find the well-equipped hospital Munich Pasing and a large medical center. There are also many social, educational, and commercial institutions that are of great significance to western Munich and the surrounding towns. In the South, there are several small industrial areas, as well as a beautiful park that serves as an easily accessible recreation area. Thanks to Pasing's connection to the main S-Bahn train route, the city center can be reached quickly.
In Pasing and at the nearby Westkreuz, multi-story residential buildings with many apartments predominate the scenery. However, because of the large number of beautiful old villas from the Wilhelminian period, surrounded by spacious gardens, Pasing has also long been popular with wealthy families. This area is more like a small town with its own infrastructure. This is where you can still most clearly recognize the former town center around which the town of Pasing has developed. Towards the south there are some smaller commercial areas and a very beautiful park, which is an easily accessible local recreation area.
Development
