Location and infrastructure
Englschalking is located approx. 7 km north-east of Munich (Zentrum). The town center, which is a listed ensemble, is grouped around the historic parish church of St. Nikolaus. Large agricultural areas dominate to the west. There are numerous recreational and sports facilities nearby. The Cosimabad offers a normal indoor pool as well as a wave pool and is the only wave pool in Munich. In addition, the centrally located Englschalking district sports facility has facilities for a variety of different sports. Although the final stop of the U4 underground line (Arabellapark) is not quite close to Englschalking, it can be reached quickly thanks to the good streetcar and bus connections (lines 16 and 18 or 154, 183 and 184). In addition, the S-Bahn line 8 (Englschalking station) connects the district with the Munich area and the city center.
Buildings
Englschalking is dominated by detached and terraced houses. Cosimapark and"Fidelio" are also large residential complexes with multi-storey houses, some of which are surrounded by expansive green spaces. If you haven't found what you are looking for here, there are also beautiful apartments in the districts of Denning, Daglfing and Johanneskirchen.
