Living in Utting

Utting am Ammersee is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech and is located approx. 50 km southwest of Munich. Today's municipality has just under 5,000 inhabitants. The oldest traces of human settlement activity in Utting date back to the second century BC.

Cultural buildings such as St. Leonhard's Church from the 18th century or the Celtic redoubt, as well as the proximity to nature with many cycling and hiking trails around the Ammersee make Utting a unique place to live. A wide range of sports activities and a well-developed club culture also offer a high recreational value. Utting can be reached by train with the S-Bahn S4 from Geltendorf and the regional train, and by car via the A 96 highway.

The idyllic surroundings around Lake Ammersee and the proximity to Munich make Utting a popular place to live. Utting is also attractive for families with its kindergartens and elementary school. In Utting there are mainly houses with gardens and some smaller rental apartments. Are you still looking for the right property? Apartments and detached houses in good locations can also be found in the municipalities of Eching am Ammersee, Inning am Ammersee and Herrsching.
