Ramersdorf
Altperlach is located in the Ramersdorf-Perlach district in the south-east of Munich. The district combines the historic core of old Perlach with the larger residential and infrastructure areas in the surrounding area. This creates a location that works very well in everyday life: Altperlach itself appears quiet and grown, while at the same time Neuperlach, major transportation axes and other parts of the city are quickly accessible.
The proximity to green and open spaces to the south and east is also a clear advantage for the quality of living.
Altperlach borders on several very different areas. The district is particularly closely connected to Neuperlach, which adjoins to the north and east and offers many additional shopping and infrastructure options. Ramersdorf and Giesing are also easily accessible. As a result, residents benefit not only from the village-like town center, but also from short distances to larger supply and district centers.
Altperlach stands out from its surroundings primarily due to its historic town center. While many areas in the south-east of Munich are more strongly characterized by post-war and large housing estate structures, the old village character is still clearly recognizable around Pfanzeltplatz. The city of Munich explicitly describes the gabled former farmhouses of the former street village around Pfanzeltplatz.
This stock is supplemented by later residential buildings and neighborhoods in the surrounding area, so that Altperlach today offers a mixture of tradition, mature living and urban infrastructure.
Typical resident groups in the district include
| To the center (Marienplatz) | To the central station | To the airport |
|---|---|---|
| 7,0 km | 8,0 km | 41,0 km |
Pfanzeltplatz is the focal point of the district and serves as a local center for shopping and meeting - bakeries, butchers, smaller grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and other service providers. A special plus is the weekly Perlach market at Pfanzeltplatz, which takes place on Saturdays and further strengthens neighborhood life.
Altperlach's character also includes traditional inns, cafés and smaller meeting places around the town center. The city of Munich explicitly describes stores and restaurants around Pfanzeltplatz as part of the Zentrum. This makes Altperlach appear lively in everyday life without losing its quiet, grown atmosphere.
Altperlach has good leisure and recreational facilities - the Ostpark with green spaces, walking paths and playgrounds, the Michaelibad, the Hachinger Tal as well as smaller green spaces and the Hachinger Bach in the local area. This means that nature is easily accessible in everyday life without having to leave the district.
