The nature-loving Lerchenau

History and development
The name of this district can be traced back to a former hunting ground of the lords of Schleißheim Castle, which was very rich in game birds. After the two world wars, this area experienced a large influx of new residents. At the end of the 1960s, a large housing estate with tall apartment buildings was therefore built on Lerchenau Lake, which today is also home to some beautiful apartments There are also many charming detached houses in the neighborhood.

Lifestyle and transport links
Lake Lerchenau itself is an inviting recreational area for walks and excursions. Those who prefer something more active will find a wide range of sports facilities at the Lerchenau district sports complex. Lerchenau is very well connected to public transport: both the U3 Oberwiesenfeld underground station and the München-Fasanerie S-Bahn station are within easy walking distance.

There are also beautiful properties to rent or buy in Feldmoching, Hasenbergl and Am Hart. You can find unfurnished apartments on Immoscout24.
