Location and transport connections
Baldham is a district of Vaterstetten and is located approx. 19 km east of Munich (Zentrum) and 15 km west of Ebersberg. The municipality has around 22,400 inhabitants and is divided into two parts: the village of Baldham, which forms the historic center around the Catholic filial church of St. Korbinian, and the much larger new development area, which was built around the S-Bahn station. The S-Bahn lines S4 and S6 usually run every 10 minutes, so you can quickly reach both the center of Munich and the outlying districts. Baldham is also very well connected to long-distance traffic: the slip roads to the A99 and A94 are only a few minutes away.
Infrastructure
The picturesque surroundings of the garden city as well as the relative proximity and good connections to Munich city center make Baldham increasingly attractive. Baldham is also a suitable place to live for families, as the town has two elementary school, a secondary school and the Humboldt-Gymnasium in the directly adjacent neighboring town of Vaterstetten. In recent years, Baldham has become a popular place to live and rents here are still below the average for the region. If you are looking for a property in a quiet yet easily accessible location, this is the place for you.
If you haven't found the right property here, it's worth taking a look at the neighboring communities of Vaterstetten and Neukeferloh.
