Living in Inning at the Ammersee

Inning am Ammersee is located approx. 37 km west of Munich (city center). Inning's history dates back approximately 4000 years. The small community between the lakes Ammersee and Wörthsee gained in importance during the 16th to 18th century, due to its location on the salt route between Munich and Landsberg.

Today, the picturesque town is a popular vacation and day trip destination: Especially in the summer, its location near the two lakes attracts visitors, even from beyond the region. Not far from Inning, near Herrsching, you can find Andechs monastery, another attraction, which impresses with its beautiful baroque architecture and its one-of-a-kind setting on a hill. Inning provides all shops for your daily needs, as well as several restaurants, numerous childcare facilities, and two schools. The music school Pierre Hauwe, which now has over 400 students, is known beyond the region. While Inning is located in the middle of nature, offering a very quiet living environment, it still has a good connection to the Munich metropolitan area. Munich's city center, as well as many other regional and national destinations, can be reached comfortably via the access road to the motorway A96.

Inning itself is a small town with about 4500 residents. Properties for rent include mostly detached houses as well as a few smaller apartments. Similarly beautiful objects can be found in Herrsching and Seefeld.

Unfurnished apartments can be found on Immoscout24 (unfortunately only in German language). The Immoscout24 app, is also available in English.
