Bad Aibling is a small town in the district of Rosenheim with a population of around 20,000. The municipality in the Mangfall valley can look back on a long history and is known as Bavaria's oldest moor spa. Since 2007, the Bad Aibling thermal spa has also enriched the townscape.
Bad Aibling is a town full of culture and sights. Numerous events take place in the central Kurpark in summer, you can immerse yourself in the history of the town in the local history museum and Prantshausen Castle is also worth a visit.
The charming Altstadt around Marienplatz invites you to linger with its historic buildings and cozy cafés. Bad Aibling is particularly attractive for families as it has a very good infrastructure with shopping facilities, numerous kindergartens and schools. The town is also home to several companies and (specialist) clinics.
Bad Aibling has two train stations that are served by the Bavarian Oberlandbahn. This ensures a fast connection to Munich and Rosenheim. You can also easily reach the A8 highway or the 2078 state road by car. A well-developed bus network connects Bad Aibling with the surrounding area.
