Altmoosach
Along the main streets, one can find office buildings, industrial complexes, and lots of shops. Moosach offers various properties for apartment rental. Apart from a few multi-story residential buildings, the area is dominated by detached and semidetached houses with gardens.
Moosach rich in tradition
Location and development
The district used to be one of the oldest villages in the Munich area. Moosach is located in the north-west of Munich and is particularly popular with families. Along the main roads Dachauerstraße and Pekovenstraße there are office buildings, businesses and many stores. Apart from a few multi-storey residential complexes, detached and semi-detached houses with gardens otherwise predominate. Moosach combines the relative tranquillity of an outlying district with optimal connections.
Infrastructure
Even outside the city center, Moosach has plenty of shopping opportunities: The so-called Moosach Stachus and the well-known Olympia-Einkaufszentrum (OEZ) offer opportunities for extensive shopping. Uptown Munich, the tallest building in the city after the Olympic Tower, can be recognized from afar and is a central landmark in Moosach. But the district also offers many quieter corners. The Hartmannshofer Forest, north of Nymphenburg Palace Park, or the Kapuzinerhölzl biotope, next to Menzinger Straße, are perfect places to relax. The district is a popular place, not least because of its location.
Didn't find what you were looking for? Then it's worth taking a look at the neighboring districts of Nymphenburg-Gern and Obermenzing.
