The Fasangarten - in the countryside and yet close to the city

The history
Fasangarten is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Munich. The community was independent in the 1920s until it was incorporated into Munich in 1937. This district, located on the Perlach Forest , takes its poetic name from a pheasant farm in the 19th century. Today, it forms district 17 together with Obergiesing.

Development and transport links
Its single-family house and small housing estate structure with green spaces as well as its proximity to the popular Perlach Forst recreational area make this district a popular residential area. Although it is not one of the central districts, it is very well connected to public transport and the city center, which can be reached within a few minutes, via the S-Bahn line S3 (Munich Fasangarten stop). Apartments in a quiet and green location are also available in the neighboring districts of Harlaching and Unterhaching as well as in the more central district of Giesing.

You can find unfurnished apartments on Immoscout24.
