The Olympiazentrum was built for the 1972 Olympic Games and houses some of Munich's most modern and famous landmarks: both the iconic Olympic Tower and the Olympic Stadium with its daring tent roof construction can be found here. Probably the most popular "remnant" from this period is the spacious Olympiapark, one of Munich's most frequently used green oases.

For sports fans, culture enthusiasts and families there is something for every season. In addition, the nearby mall Olympiaeinkaufszentrum with more than 130 shops attracts visitors.
The Olympiazentrum is very well connected to the city center via the stops of the U-Bahn line U3 Olympiazentrum, Petuelring and Scheidplatz. The Georg-Brauchle-Ring also provides a convenient connection to the Munich road network.
Around the Olympiazentrum there are several high-rise buildings with student and owner-occupied apartments with beautiful objects for temporary rental. Furnished apartments here are in great demand due to the independent infrastructure of the quarter. If you don't find the right offer here, it is worth taking a look at the neighboring districts of Olympiadorf and Moosach.
