The noble quarter
Bogenhausen is undoubtedly one of the most upmarket residential areas in Munich today. It is located to the north of Haidhausen on the eastern bank of the Isar. Alt-Bogenhausen is still clearly reminiscent of the villa district it was once laid out as. The many beautiful old buildings from the Wilhelminian era are home to most of Munich's foreign consulates, but are also highly sought-after residential buildings.

Location and development
Bogenhausen is undoubtedly one of the most exclusive residential areas in Munich today. It is located to the north of Haidhausen on the eastern bank of the Isar. Alt-Bogenhausen is still clearly reminiscent of the villa district it was once laid out as. The many beautiful old buildings from the Wilhelminian era are home to most of Munich's foreign consulates, but are also highly sought-after residential buildings. In addition to stores and small boutiques, some of Munich's most beautiful landmarks can also be found in this district. Villa Stuck and the famous Munich Angel of Peace are the most characteristic motifs of this extravagant district.
Infrastructure
Further north, in the newer part of Bogenhausen, there are many buildings from the 1970s bordering the clinic district, which is home to the large, public Bogenhausen Clinic as well as numerous smaller private and specialist clinics. Rosenkavalierplatz opposite the hospital is home to a large number of doctors in private practice, a fitness studio, various management consultancies, bank buildings and numerous nice restaurants.
Transport connections
With two stations in the district, the U4 subway line offers fast connections to the city center and other districts. The Mittlerer Ring can be reached within a few minutes by car. Bogenhausen's central location and good infrastructure offer a perfect environment. If you have not found the right offer here, it is worth taking a look at the neighboring districts of Au-Haidhausen, Berg am Laim and Trudering.
